High Liver Enzymes!!

Well, I went to the doctor for my blood test a month after my last cycle. The cycle consisted of Tren, EQ and Winstrol.

All through the cycle I took 1500 to 2000 mg of ALA and about 750 mg of Milk Thistle per day.

My enzymes (AST) (ALT) were both in the 70 range. Supposedly 24 is optimal for an adult and 48 is the end range of acceptable.

The doc told me to cut all supplements cold turkey and get off the protein powders etc... for one month.

I do ingest 400-475 grams in protien a day. I am wondering if this could contribute to the high number. He did not care about the amount of protein, only the form.

Any experienced guys familiar with this?

Relax and get it tested again in a month. Your levels should be back to normal or at least close by then. Are you taking clen or anything else right now?

IMO those "normal" numbers are fairly ambiguous. I think it would produce much more valid results if you had pre-cycle enzyme levels to compare them too. Just my .02

Liver enzyme levels as based on what the average Joe. Not for body builders. Heck, training can raise levels as well as protein gear and otc painrelievers. Creatine levels will rise and doc will then want a 24 hour urine sample and a kidney sonogram.

Actually I was tested back in February and the results were the same. I did not think anything of it then and I just ignored the results. Now... after a full cycle they are the same. This leads me to believe that the AS is not the problem.

Like marky said your values are fine for a protein eating body builder. Your doctor need to take that into account. High values are not an indication of liver damage they are an indication of an active liver. If you weight train and eat that much protein of course you're going to have an active liver. Have him run your GGT values, most doctors are not well informed about the differences between the level of muscle enzymes and over activity from toxins.

I've been getting my blood tested recently and got some results back today. My liver enzymes are high and got that way because of winny I think a few months back. I kept them elevated and even elevated them a bit more with clen and shit like clomid, nolvadex, etc. They all increase liver enzymes somewhat. My liver enzymes were down from 2 weeks ago when I was taking clen and I'm gonna lay off 17aa for a while even though I'm taking fina and eq now. I wouldn't worry about it bro. Get them tested again in a few weeks and try not to take any "drugs" in the meantime or at least the last few weeks before your tests and up the water intake.

I feel a little better right now after seeing that others are in the same boat. I am still going to have the full battery of tests just to be on the safe side.
