High Intensity Cardio

i do high intensity cardio 5 days a week for about 40 minutes and want to lower my body fat percentage without losing muscle mass....i was wondering what my body uses for fuel during this period of time? does it only use glycogen or does it tap into my lean muscle...i also do resistance training to help build muscles...any suggestions would really help, thanks
 
IM not an expert on this-- but from what Ive been told-- after 30 minutes-- your body goes from glycogen stores to fat stores & then to muscle... so your BF would have to be extremely really low to burn LBM.
