Anyone else having problems with high hematocrit levels since starting trt and if so what have you done that has helped lower them?

Its not uncommon to have elevated RBC when on TRT, just donate whole blood as often as you can.

I plan on doing that next week......I would have already went but I am currently recovering from a detached retina:( thanks for the advice

Will your test level go down when you donate blood?????

You may lose some circulating test thats in your blood, but the effects will be negligible at best.

Donated blood today...
They commented on a high level of iron in my blood and how slow it flowed.
I was to get my hematocrit level checked next week but i am thinking about waiting another week or so to see if drinking the grapefruit juice everyday helps.

Got my blood drawn today. I will know in a few days if it came back in line.

Hematocrit level dropped from 56.1 to 53......so I guess I am now a regular blood donor

I had to give blood this past Saturday. My hematocrit was 52.1 with 52.0 being the threshold for my lab, and my Hemoglobin was 19.5 according to the bloodbank tester. I was having headaches and feeling tired alot. I'm going to check and see what my hemoglobin/hematocrit dropped to next Monday when I draw labs. Will post the results.....

I can definatly feel when I am getting close to my donation date as well. Thick blood takes its toll.

The strange thing for me is I have no symptoms when mine is high. Even at 56 on my hematocrit level I felt good and could tell,no difference after donating.

It will vary from person to person. Even if you dont feel it, it causes the heart to work harder which over time causes thickening of the walls etc.

Since I do a fair amount of high intensity cardio, thats usually where I can tell its getting high. I lose endurance and dont recover as fast between sets.
