High calorie splurge while using gear

Is it just me or do you all notice that higher calorie meals on occasion such as 1 cup cottage cheese, 40 g whey, 8 oz hamburg, and 12-14 TBSP ANPB don't seem to cause the fat gain that would happen if one were off cycle.

I eat 7 clean whole food meals per day, and train 2x per day, once with weights, and cardio at night. I have been leaning out even with these high cal cheat meals before bed???? Normally this would make me fat in no time. Does the gear really allow the body to assimilate all these excess calories? Or am just fooling myself and will end up with too much fat storage?
 
How old are you? I used to drink a gal/milk and whole bag of oreos at night before bed when I was younger w/o getting fat-as long as I trained/did cardio daily. At 30 + it would make me fat as fuck.
 
Kind of Ironic. Right now I am taking some suspension, npp and winstrol. I am eating 12 double stuff oreos with fat free milk, 4-5 pieces of meatball pizza or a couple double cheese burgers as my last meal of the night. I make sure I hit all my nutritional goals for the day and then I splurge at night.

I am still hovering around 11% bf.. But gaining weight. Maybe it is the gear b/c my cardio and training is still the same..

I am 24 but I am trying to lean bulk. I can grow "almost" as good without the excessive calories.... however the cottage cheese, whey, and peanut feasts at night before bed really seem to fill me out and make my strength go through the roof.

The rest of the day aside from pre and post workout I am eating 8-10oz steak and or chicken with veggies and some efa's. I only eat carbs pre and post training. I could grow faster with carbs, but couldn't eat nearly the cals I am eating now without getting fat and sloppy.

Whats up with the cheat meals nearly every night before bed actually keeping me lean while growing like a weed? Is it because my body may be a little depleted from the 2 a days and that meal before sleeping helps with recovery and doesn't store much as fat?

I actually feel sick right now from all the food, but I seem to keep doing it every night because in the morning I feel energized and strong during my training session. I am just going to roll with it for another 4 weeks or so, then I add some t3 and winstrol and really start to "tear shit up" :p

That's the way to chow bro-if you can get all of your "good" calories in for the day, and you still have room left for junk-eat it! If you start to get fat, just chill on the double stuffs, etc. I don't know about you, but it's just too hard for me to choke down 2 cans of tuna for dinner after eating pan pizza for lunch. By never eating junk during the day I won't be replacing my good calories with shit calories ever.
 
I think it's odd you consider cottage cheese, whey, 8 oz. hamburger, and peanut butter cheating.

The food choices are not bad, but look at the calorie content in that quantity... its nearly 2k calories bro... at once :evil:
 
yeah, that's a lot of calories for one meal if you eat all them at once. I guess I should learn how to read.

Lol, my "cheat" meals consist of me going to Chili's, they give me the menu, and I say "yes".

when i'm on i can't eat enough to make me fat...

i'm currently:
750 mg wk sustanon
600 mg week deca
45 mg ed dbol

i eat all my clean food 4 x's a day and then eat junk food every day...i find that when i'm on a cycle if i don't eat junk i can't get in enough calories...i.e. a typical lunch is Wendy's double with large fries, spicy chicken sandwich, diet coke and vanilla Frosty.

i'm 6'1" 240#'s @ 10% bf
 
Dude no way once in awhile if I smoke some bud I will chow down at night after meeting all my requirements and I do say I dont gain fat from it. but thats like ONCE a week usually the night that I drink on. Just a few beers or a few shots honestly just to get a buzz have some fun I dont try to get trashed I feel fat if I do. But yeah I think it does do some good shit while your ON. It gives you the more caloreis you need to grow because like dianabol does great work on the protein synthesis i think others do the same. But I usually eat vegetables oatmeal and meat and some whey and fruit. A good thing to do before bed is to drink some WHEY with milk in it because of the casein protein it coats your stomache and relases it slow.

I think it depends on your genetics, and your age, if you have fast metabolism then as long as you dont over do it, then its ok. but the moment you turn it into a more frequent ritual then the fat gains will start coming

Very true. However when dieting HARD for a show I'll have a re-feed day once a week. Its a high calorie splurge but VERY clean, just more complex carbs basically. But in the off season I go off my higher carb higher cal diet once every 2 weeks or so with a night out. Usually sushi (lots of it) or once in a while a chain restaurant. Your body needs a re-start to its metabolism once in a while. But the key is to be mindful that these splurges dont become more frequent than your days on the diet.

Agreed! A cheat meal won't hurt but not all meals can be cheat meals!
 
vadculr u prick. u tell me to eat clean n then u stuff yourself nightly. lol. I'm playing but finding I need to dirty up my diet to put on mass. I can diet with the best of them so what do I hve to lose? ate u guys are on gear for life or at least a year? worry u at all? I was doing awesome until pct....now I'm reconcidering.....on a side note vasclr switch your cardio to am watch the diffetence it'll mke
 
A good cheat meal every once in awhile is important when youre bulking. I have been eating 3 triples for a meal at Wendy's about once per week for the last 6 months or so and still staying just as lean. I even eat that when I am cutting, as I eat low carbs. Anyone know how many calories are in one of those triples at Wendy's,lol?

About what I figured, had heard it was supposed to be more than any other. So thats 3000 cals for just that one meal. When we cook hamburgers at home on the grill, I will eat 4 or 5 of those and those are really thick sirloin.
 
its hard to eat clean and keep cals high for average guys, so junk food is an option for ectomorph's and meso's while on cycle
 
I dunno guys you can get 93% lean ground beef and/or ground turkey for dirt cheap. I paid $2.30 for 1.30 lbs of lean ground turkey, which is 120 g protein. I know there are SOME dudes that can get away with eating crap more than others, but if you get into that habit you'll be in for it once your metabolism starts to slow in your 30's and beyond.
 
what is an ectomorph and what is a mesomorph? Also Can you guys post up some good high cal foods I can incorporate into my meals and shakes. Some I can think of off the top of my head are olive oil, ANPB, cottage cheese, bagels, and almonds.
