After nearly two weeks in the woods in my tiny trailer, does anyone feel like telling me if I missed anything interesting or important in our little virtual community

And if anyone is curious, the vacation would probably be quite boring to most of you. There is very little to do out there but eat, sleep, drink, play board games and er, um, hang out with my husband a lot ... at all hours of the day and night ...

What sort of board games?

Backgammon, triominos and checkers, everything else was private (and not something I'll discuss around here).

To the rest of you who are trying to infer my insignificance through my presence not being missed, boo hoo, I'm wounded, ouch.

I really enjoyed The Field.

Just re-read "Messages from Michael" (did I remember to mention that one to Thandi?) after years and years. Extremely interesting to read the material with the experiences and other stuff I've been exposed to over the past few years.

I am glad you had a good time. I have always loved rustic camping.... lots of board games, bonfires, fishing.... although I bring a battery operated radio, LOL. Now with the kiddies being so young we go to "camping resorts". Welcome back

If you're going to make jokes about my personal life at least get the details straight:

I LIKE this husband, the current one. He is my best everything: Friend, spouse, lover, confidant, partner. I truly enjoy spending time with him and after 15 years we still are extremely compatible in every way. We virtually never have a disagreement and we don't fight (I'm not making that up, tough to fight with someone when you're both saying "whatever makes you happy, hon" with sincerity).

It's the first one I still regret not having killed. He was (and still is, according to his adult son), a self centered, materialist, immature asshole.
