What's the best way to get a cashier's check and what is the basic process. Never needed to get one so I am in the dark here. Also, does anybody know where my pants are?

Anyway, I usually get cashiers checks at my bank. Some banks will charge you a couple bucks.

Go to a bank and get a cashiers check. Give them the information and cash and they will issue you one. If you are a bank customer, usually there is no charge.

Some banks don't issue "cashier's checks" anymore. They now call them "guaranteed bank checks". Not sure why they changed the name, but it's the same damn thing. My bank charges me $3 per check.
