HH Tester Log

Starting the new batch from Anabolic X. First off let me say looking for great thngs, I believe this is going to be an awesome product.

Ok, things are a bit different than the last time. I was working for strength gain mostly, doing a maintenance level diet of approximately 3K calories. My workout was along the lines of 5x5 for most compound lifts, with bb movements sprinkled in.

I am now doing a cut, nice and slow for the summer. No show this year, our move is taking precedence over competition this year.

I am a huge fan of 50/20/30 macros, p/c/f for cutting, lowering calories sensibly while staying in this macro range. As many well know, hormones start to get whacky, namely test levels decline as you diet. I am a big believer that keeping my fat intake a bit higher helps alleviate this, and helps with leptin, etc.

I am at 2400 calories right now, and progress has been marked and starting to become noticeable.

I do always dread the mental aspect of strength dropoff, and this supplement should go a long ways towards keeping that high. Not too bad so far, but my normally weaker lifts, which come up last and thus are the first to drop off, have started to suffer a bit already.

Namely inclines(which I will do today by the way).

Not sure on how to take the supplement yet, so waiting back for a response I sent the company rep on protocol. My product came yesterday, here last night when I got home.

I should note my current supplement regimine, basically nothing other than vitamins, minerals, and green tea. So, there should be absolutely no doubt about what is producing any "gains" I make with this product.

My workouts are going something along these lines now, instead of as mentioned the 5x5's, I am doing a more hypertophic 8-10 rep scheme. 6 is my lowest number I shoot for.

I have also cut down on my rest times. There are namely 3 ways you can advance in training. One of course is heavier weight, another is more reps with your maximum weights, and the third is cut down on rest times. The first 2 are normally not feasible with dieting, so I am working on cutting down my rest times. Also incorporating some drop sets, etc.

This also research shows helps to boost test levels in the gym. Everything I do as far as cutting is hopefully to help keep test levels higher.

I am incorporating a bit of cardio at this point, nothing really serious. Another believer in if you do too much cardio too soon, you have nowhere to turn but more calorie cuts. At some point this becomes unfeasible, and the body fights back negatively.

This is going to be good. I like your logs bro, glad to have you doing this.
Best luck!

Thanks for the props bro, I am glad to do this. Somehow have the feeling this is going to be good.

Yesterday I did not start the product yet, was unsure how to take it and am normally very anal about how supplements are done. I want to always get the most out of things, and so I follow directions to the letter, unless I am already familiar with a product and know that a change works better.

So, today it will begin.

Did a chest/ab workout yesterday, and it was decent. Felt pretty good, but there is no doubt my inclines are down considerably from my top weights. Hopefully one of the benefits of this HH will be to keep weights up a bit.

I keep a log of all my workouts, and it is very hard on me to see my weights drop from the last workout. :mix:

So, my goal of course is....

1...keep strength up
2...continue dropping bodyfat with little to no lbm loss(isn't that what we all want! ;) )

I have dropped bodyfat to single digits many times for contests, so I will be comparing this cut to them. I have always suffered some lbm loss, pretty inevetible being a natural athlete. And this was using the very best supplements available, I am a Beverly fan for qualtity, and used amino acids, Ultra 40 and bcaa/glutamine diligently.

It will be interesting to compare "outings" with this time. Don't have to get to low single digits this time, but still comparisons will be easily assumed from past experience.

Day 1....Saturday, 3/25/06

As far as workout, day one is in the books. Took my first dose with breakfast, hit the gym in about 70 minutes. Nothing to report of course as far as the supplement.

It was however a good day. Really reduced my resting times fairly dramatically. Was in a "zone" today. Back and shoulders too, usually a tough day. Blew right through the back, slowed a bit on shoulders, but ended up strong.

So, the bar is being set for the product...of course recorded the workout, so I will have nice written comparisons, and will post any profound differences in both as I proceed with the HH.

Day 2....Sunday, 3/26/06

Today is a day off, will do a bit of steady state cardio at no more than 60% VO2 max. Optimal fat burning in my opinion.

I will add in more intense cardio later, but as of now, this is it.

Can do this and watch the basketball games at the same time also! ;)

Day 3....Monday, 3/27/06

All arm day other than abs. Literally breezed through the workout.

Have added BCAA's and 6-Methyluracil (6-MU)...for those that do not know, for synthesis and repair of DNA and RNA

Day 4....Tuesday, 3/28/06

Leg day today. The only adjective I can think of to use is I litereally blew through my workout today...very hard to do on leg day!

Not sure what to credit for these workouts yet, but hopefully soon it will become apparent.

Am loving the decreased workout times, this as I mentioned is great for test levels, and of course my cutting regimine. Starting to really take shape...

As mentioned, I have done this numerous times for contests. I know the progression my body takes, shoulder area first, and now abs are starting to get the second split in separation between the center 2. This is a normal progression for me.

Here is about where I am heading...

Day 5....Wednesday, 3/29/06

Hoping to keep up better with my log. Many things going on, moving out of state, getting things ready, posting resumes, etc.

Today is a rest day, so very easy to post today.

***One note as to sides....not sure yet if I can blame the supplement, but have noticed the last couple nights not sleeping very soundly. Waking up quite often. Could be related to many things, just something to note and keep an eye on.

Day 6....Thursday, 3/30/06

Yesterday was chest day, and it was an "interesting" day. Something was different, not the same "intensity" as the last few days for some reason. Intensity may not be the right word, I was intense, but still lacked that "something". Not sure what was up.

Anyway, dosing will continue as scheduled, looking for interesting/noticeable things to start happening soon.
