HGH Reaction?

bblazer

Banned
I am into week 4 of my 1st time with HGH. My intent was to go with 4IU's 5 on 2 off after a short ramp up from 2.5IUs. I am injecting right when I wake up ~ 4:30 am.

I noticed after day 3 that about 5 hours after the injection that I would get an unsettled feeling that bordered on anxiety/panic, combined with some tingling and almost a similar feeling to a niacin flush. This sensation would continue to build until it peaked with 1.5 hours, then very slowly decline throughout the afternoon. Needless to say, during these periods, my fuse really shortened, and I was grumpy and irritable.

Figuring that I was just a little sensitive, after week 1 I lowered the dose to .9 IUs and 95% of the above symptoms went away. I stuck with that for the next 8 days.

Now I have tried for the last 2 days 1.75 IUs and am beginning to notices similar symptoms described above.

For the life of me I can't seem to figure out what is going on. At first I was thinking it was some hypoglycemia and tried eating some fruit and drinking fruit juice. That gave a little relief, and was short lasting. If I am away from my desk and moving the symptoms seem to be less noticeable as well.

For the record, I am also taking 100 mg Cyp/week, and my diet is in check. My supply is also direct from the pharmacy Omnitrope and Watson Cyp.

Thanks for any input!

I dont know man..you're not even taking that much either? do you have a family members with anxiety?

I started off at 2ius daily and am now between 4-6ius - a lot of people have said do this for 6 months to notice results but like 3 wks in I have noticed some major changes.

I sometimes sit at work and it's like I lose sensitivity in my (mainly) right arm as I am typing and sometimes my legs. It just feels weird. I seem to be needing carbs at times as well as I have - a few times - had the shakes.

Out of all the sides, it is the tingling that really annoys! It does cause me anxiety and I have started doing calf pushups while at my desk.

I have also definitely noticed I feel more refreshed and have more energy levels (usually told it makes you more tired).

Hope you figure it out

How long are you waiting to eat after your shot. You might go to a walgreens and pick up a blood glucose kit and check your blood sugar before you inject and then every half hour after. I think you might be having a type-2 diabetic reaction. You should wait 1/2 hour to an hour after injection before you eat anything especially sugars...

I am waiting about 1.5 hours before eating.

Could this be a type II reaction even though it is happening 5-6 hours after I inject?

Thanks

No telling if it is an insulin issue until you test your blood sugar. If you test it and it is not an insulin issue than I would go see my dr. and tell him what is going on!

GH has a half life of 20-30 minutes and doesn't reach peak plasma levels for 2-6 hours

You won't normally notice temporary high blood sugar levels. It's the lows that will send you signals. I've woken up with levels up in the mid-200's and felt perfectly normal. Sustained high blood glucose levels will result in excessive thirst and urination.

It's good advice to get a glucometer though to find out for sure what levels you have.

Assuming this is an insulin resistance issue, will is resolve if I discontinue the HGH?

Thanks!

Do you know for sure that you weren't diabetic before you started? Have you had your FBS's and HbA1c's checked in the past or had a glucose tolerance test?

Does it matter that much about the waiting time for eating before using HGH

No it is not that important but it is of the utmost importance how long you wait to eat after you inject.

how long?

30 min minimum and 60 min is best, just remember the most important thing is the sugar intake. It can F-you up. Don't eat sugar until and hour after you inject.
One exception is post workout. Take shot after w/o then take you carb and protien drink 20 min. later.
