HGH in sports

Would you consider an athlete whom uses just HGH to be a "cheater"? From what I know about HGH, is that unless combined with anabolics, it doesnt do a whole lot. I was listening to a sports talk show today and they were talking about how athletes are getting away with using steroids by using HGH and there is nothing that can be done about it. Would any one like to chime in on this?

HGH at high enough dosages is not only very beneficial even without juice, it is undetectable to current tests as far as i know

I think the main benefits for MLB guys on HGH are the rejuvenation effects. Imagine a pitcher being able to throw on 3 days rest, yet he's in a 4 man rotation. He'd be throwing with an extra day rest and have an advantage over the competition. Or maybe when on the road, when most guys are adjusting to the time changes and fatigue of hotel life, this player feels energized. Or the dog days of Summer in August, the player is recovering quicker and staying healthier so his play has not dropped off as significantly as others. When talking about the skillset of guys that are in the Majors, the slightest bit of advantage is huge. Remember the line in "Bull Durham", "1 hit a week is the difference between the minors and Cooperstown."

Gh is widely used by people of all walks of life from the small to the tall, the young to the old, and the skinny to the huge. It has different benifits for everyone. Ive seen 2 case studies of kids in their teens (about 13) being given HGH to promote growth because they were very stunted. Both cases turned up excellent results and both kids grew at least 6 inches.

Other cases are elderly people, where it gives the effect of youthfullness and more energy.

Its used for many other things as well on people who have never used juice. It doesnt need juice to be effective at all. Dont believe everything you hear bro.

The only downside to GH use for say bodybuilders is, longtime use will give you a permanent gut and most likely and very large jaw. It will change your body in many different ways you may not want. There is a ton of good info on GH if you look, and there have also been very good reports on GH from shows like 48hr investigates etc.... The only problem is that, you are always ging to get 2 sides to the debate, and you will never know the truth.

Here's some interesting tidbits from article - Apparently, according to this article, HGH alone doesn't increase strength.

" Growth hormone is a powerful anabolic hormone that affects all body systems and plays an important role in muscle growth. Animal experiments have shown that growth hormone can partially reverse surgically induced muscle atrophy and weakness. Growth hormone administration to normal animals leads to muscle hypertrophy, but this muscular growth is not accompanied by increased strength. "

Also - " Although there is no scientific evidence documenting an improvement in athletic performance following growth hormone supplementation, it is reported that this practice is becoming more widespread among athletes wishing to avoid detection with current doping control measures. "

In the case studies that you seen for kids, what where the dosages and for how long?
