HGH and bleeding from surgery

I saw on a previous thread that the use of HGH can cause bleeding during surgery, is this true? Im 44 and having a total knee replacement next week. I have been taking 5 ius ed of hgh, should I quit before the surgery?

i had rhinoplasty while on hgh and the doc told me it would not be an issue as i thought the same thing and everything was fine
