some/many of the MSM may lean one way or the other, but none of them except FOX has as its corporate mission to promote an ideology or a party.

There is no MAY about it. Just ask Dan Rather.

I don't think you can find support for the GOP in Fox's mission statement.

Fox is as legitmate as CNN, MSNBC, et al. In fact, the journalists go thru a revolving door working for each.

But anyway, criticizing Fox is a popular thing for liberals to do.

well, I'm not neccessarily a lib, but have sided more and more with dem's since this bucnch took over the WH.

The problem with the "one conservative network" is it holds itself out as a "news organization" olloooolloooollo rather than an advocacy opinion/propaganda outlet.
....
Talk about propaganda outlets.. You can't be serious...holy shit...lololololololol

some/many of the MSM may lean one way or the other, but none of them except FOX has as its corporate mission to promote an ideology or a party. cept fox with repubs and conservatism.

Again..FUCKING BULL MOTHER FUCKING SHIT....lolololololol

I have no problem with WABC radio and all the rightwing propaganda opiion coming from hannity limbaugh mark levine etc etc. its not masquarading as news (altho unfortunately many mouthbreathers use these propaganda shows as their only source of news)

Propaganda, Propaganda? You've got to be kidding me.....No, not your sources

the problem is when FOX put a News face on what is advocacy opinion. and dont make me pull all the leaked memos and admissions and public info that proves that they are in fact a propaganda outlet for the White House.

LOLOLOLOLLOLOOLLOOLLLOO....Leaked memo's lololololololol That's right the left don't leak their talking points to their "news" sources..lololololollolol

show me where the prez of any of the other networks asked democratic leaders how they wanted a story spun?

show me where the prez of any of the other networks sent out a memo instructing staff to look for positive democrat spins in an election drubbing and using words like "our side", "us", or similar.

show me where the lead/prez/founder of any of the other networks was a WH advisor and executive producer/partner of a rightwing media personality (ailes and limbaugh)

show me where the lead/prez/founder of any of the other networks sent a memo to the WH advising them how to best spin a particular story.

Fox has done all of the above with and for republicans.

Has Fox made up a news story, including falsifying documents, and then used their top anchor to broadcast a specially designed program to discredit a sitting president right before an election?

CBS has, and the NY times and Wash Post have made similar moves. Like I said, Fox is a conservative island in a sea of liberal media outlets.

it's an open question whether Rather was set up first off,

second HE didnt falsify those docs if they were in fact false - at worst he gave the benefit of the doubt to what he wanted to be true

third, you're confusing an individual newsman who may have an agenda with corporate policy

lastly - you're citing an exception. I've listed an ongoing pattern of behavior, ongoing ordinary course of business with FAUX

No, it is not an open question, and the fact that you are defending him is telling.

Rather's incident is not an isolated one of liberal media bias.
