I am a little surprised though, you didn't mention Bill Hicks. He was a comedian whom Tool identified closely with. If you have never heard of him, go trey and find his 'philosophy' cd, it's the funniest stand up ever.

yeah - Bill Hicks was cool. used to crack up at his stuff.
as for being a big Tool fan - I don't follow them as much anymore, but I used to be fairly obsessed. I was on a Tool mailing list and shit even. that was like '96-97 - but I've been a fan since Opiate

as for King - not sure, just recall a dude growing an eye in his brain and I think it represented his other self. and I think there were birds.

cool info, and I think I'm on that same mailing list now. I know it's kinda dorky, but I love that band, and I like to know when they are playing live shows. I'm actually going to see them in Las Vegas July 19. I just baught my plane ticket, I'm pretty exited, but want to remain calm for the sake overreacting.
Anyways thanks for the info, and I'll try and find more about that book.

but do it in the private garden of some wealthy aristocrat.. away from the public eye.. and then i'll pretend i'm dead after about 3 hours (yes yes.. i know that it usually takes 2-3 days to die of such a death.. but don't worry.. they'll bite).. and then you can take me to some tomb where noone can really see.. then after that i'll pretend like i've come back to life and lure all these suckers into giving me and my closest cohorts (we'll call them "churchs") money in exchange for the belief that they'll go to this great place in the sky where they walk on clouds and where everything tastes like pizza...
