im just saying there is zero benefit overall to society of being able to purchase guns legally. If I was robbed or held at gunpoint maybe I would honestly feel different..but I never have been.

if you walked into a crowded restaurant in my hometown and opened fire. . .you'd get off 2 or 3 rounds before about 15 armed citizens put a cap in your ass. is this right?? i don't know. . .but where i come from, such a tragedy would be difficult to perpetrate. . .damn near everyone is a proud gun owner, has a protection permit and is a life long nra member. . .

im trying to comprehend how he managed to kill 33 people with 2 handguns....was he just pumping as many shots into each person or was he just that accurate that he was getting "kill shots"?? ..crazy shit.

The serial numbers of both were filed off, so yes the guns were illegal.
Was it a private sale or did he buy them from a dealer? Doesn't say.
In Va. they must pass a state and NICS background check.
