When I requested to cancell my platinum membership, I stipulated I wanted it done at the end of the current billing cycle. Since funds were withdrawn from my account on August 1, shouldn't I be Platinum for the remainder of the month, especially since I was still paying $3 more per month than new members.

If you would, please either reinstate my membership for the remainder of the prepaid period, or refund me a prorated amount.


p.s. - if a mod would, please copy this to the mod forum. Triedia might as well know I cancelled my membership. Thanks.

couple of reasons. I've been voluntarily unemployed for a couple of months. My wife is close to having a new job, and is hardly working at her former one. School is in again, and books and tuition will be pushing $3500 out of pocket. Also, I just moved, so phone, cable, and electric bills are all double what the normally are due to account transfer fees and paying for two apartments at the same time. I also just bought an expensive dog, had to pay a pet deposit, buy dog supplies, and have vet bills in the near future. Money is scarce. Before HI attempts to call me on this statement, I support myself 100%.

I also didn't like how slowly several of the platinum features were moving. That and several customer service issues, such as paying more than the new platinum members, annoyed me.

Oh yeah, I can't stand Ryan

I have attempted to explain this math several time to no avail.

35.91 is for 3 months with one month free. That's 11.97 per month. That 4th month is free. The 35.91 divided by 4 is 8.97 per month, but that's the vlaue, not the cost. The cost is 11.97 a month.
