I don't understand the appeal of tattoos at all.

I appreciate good art, no matter the form, but inking your skin is otherworldly to me.

I said nothing against anyone who has tattoos. My cousin emily has sleeves and piercings and she's one of my favorite people.

I just don't know why people like putting that on their skin. That's all.

I'm kinda leaning towards a Japanese mythology themed sleeve. My artist is ridiculous at that style too. I figure if i let him go off with an idea it will turn out better than me trying to piece it together.
 
I got 16 hours scheduled in the chair for march. I will make more appts after the 16 hours depending how much more time is needed.

Nice bro, I would do the same thing in regards to finding a SUPER reputable artist and have them draw up something original off the top.

I have a friend that had his 9yr old son tattoo his name on his arm(friend owns the shop). It turned out kind of tight too

Yeah, I've used this guy for awhile. He is LEGIT...been in magazines and shit with his work.


I got my sons name as well..it's dope.
 
yeah, first time it was a year to get into my guy...I was lucky this time and got an appt. in 3 months. I think I got in sooner cuz it's a full sleeve and I told him I want it done asap.
 
i have no fukn clue if woot is serious lololololol

and those little gay boy bootyhole flowerettes are fukin pathetic on that sleeve, i know a dude that got a japanese theme with the coi fish some japanese maples which look like weed leefs its pretty tight
 
Also, don't go so bold and bright with the color. Be subtle and tasteful with coloring. That one you posted looks like a crayola box puked on it.

my guy is 100 a hour due to the amount of hours i have spent at his shop, normally he charges 150.
my tab is over 3k and i still have a lot of skin exposed.
that is 3k for pecs/shoulders/and arms.
still needs more work done too.

and plank are you doing 8 hours at one time?
damn man, fuk that 3-4 hours for me max.

here is some recent work i got done, i'm dragging this theme all over my back and torso eventually
always had a thing for mechanics, gearing and such...
and if anyone doesn't like this, says it's gaye or wtf ever, it's all good i only tat for myself not for you fux

and notice below the new ink, what was once bright black/grey skin cheese has already faded 13 months after recieveing it.
lugging around a heavy work firepack apparently is wearing the ink off, sucks

nah..the inital appointment he booked me for all 8 hours...I assume he's gonna spend a good portion of that drawing it up...

after that i'm only booked for 4 hours every 2 weeks until it's done. He doesn't want to tat for more than that per sitting.

I can do 4 hours w/o a sweat.

my most recent work took 4 hours, by 3.5 hrs i'm getting antsy and hungry...my tat stamina depends on the tat locale...can't imagine 4 hours of rib/stomach work.
i had my bro dry tat my rib cage to see how it feels, it hurts

LOL @ putting up a pic of a medieval/classic dragon against an oriental dragon tattoo, WTF they're not even the same type of dragon, also tattoo artists can be talented but they're not a damn printer either to replicate an actual image to it's entirety, the thickness of the lines used, the shading, all that are variables from person to person based on their skin type and LOL x@ at what a dragon would look like if it was real xD WTF does that even mean, what do unicorns and mermaids look like when they're life like? jeez...

I've seen some ultra hi fidelity to realism in tattoos before.

Have you ever seen a lizard? Give it some wings and it's a dragon. Tah dah! What a retarded question nan.

A unicorn is a horse with a horn out its head. Not hard to make it look "real" and not some goofy cartoon garbage.

The point I was making was not to get some cartoonish looking thing, but something that looks life-like.

I'll punch you in the uterus.
