Hey atw....

ATW doesn't actually like cats and doesn't own any, he just likes LOLCats and is our resident user of those images.

I'm the one who likes cats and own 7 :kitty: Now I have to check and see if I saw that special ...

I'm looking to broaden his horizons....it't a really cool program.

college football is on .. no man should rather watch a show on cats over football or something is wrong

I know, I wish I had seen it from the beginning, I'll have to check the schedule and see when it reruns.

It's actually interesting from a biological perspective, particularly the very end where they're talking about feline AIDS versus human AIDS. Cats have developed natural immunities against their version of the AIDS virus and in understanding how their immune systems work and what genetically happened, as we both are mammals and share common ancient ancestors, perhaps there is a way that can be adapted for humans.

Plus finding out how housecats evolved as human companions is interesting, because cats are different from dogs psychologically.

Finally, his football game is blacked out, he a medical student, so at least he might as well learn something :FRlol:

ok sounds good only chris & wistlebritches are allowed to watch shows on cats over football .. all other men is a no go !

This was my favorite part. I love the ultimate guide programs.

My husband likes cats and hates football, you wanna fight about it :D

Seven?!??!
It's a good sized house and cats are small (particularly mine, the biggest one weighs around 12 pounds and the smallest weighs less than 6). Besides, they don't like each other very much so you rarely have more than one or two awake in a room for very long. Right now four are sleeping in my bedroom (they stake out a corner of the bed) and one, who is my self appointed puppy dog, is here in my office sleeping under my desk. She follows me everywhere all day. The other two are downstairs somewhere.

this thread=fail

cats should be outside living with other wild animals
But it's okay if dogs live inside, right

Domestic cats are not wild animals, any more than domestic dogs or ferrets are.

Besides, at least two of my cats are ferals and they decided they'd had enough of that shit and wanted to come live with me so I'm not depriving anyone of anything. The one time one of my other cats made the mistake of sneaking outside she was scared shitless and crying to come back in within 10 seconds.
