I'm not going to attempt to argue whether the Bible is right or wrong, that's a battle that will probably never be over.
Here is my simple plea, before you post on a religious thread, pick up the Bible and read it (at least some of it). That makes you qualified to give your opinion. Don't recite some shit you've heard, check it out for yourself before you start shit-talking Christianity.
I never knew Hitler was as sick of a fuck as he was until I read Mein Kampf. Now, that I have read it, i can say with conviction that Hitler was a piece of shit.
I never had any respect for Martin Luther King until I read some of his writings and speeches. After doing so, I realized that he was a great man. Now I can engage in discourse on MLK and actually have valid points that back up my assertions.
So why doesn't everyone take the same approach to God? People feel like they can make all the general yet authoritative statements about God, but they've never even seen a Bible.Get to know what he wrote, what his thoughts and commandments were, and then argue that they're either completely right or complete bullshit.
That's how arguments should work.
