After my dad died 7 years ago, I went from weighing 118 pounds to the grossly overweight 207 pounds I am now (I'm 5'0 feet tall.) I love to exercise, but dammit, I can't get my gluttonous self to leave the vending machine alone. Meanwhile, my boyfriend is getting ripped and looks hot (well, he's always been hot, but you know what I mean). I don't want him to be embarrassed by me.
Has anybody else had to lose copious amounts of weight? What was your kick-start? My bf wants me to do the Atkins thing, but I get physically ill by not eating any carbs. I have a bad gall bladder (from all those wonderful fat foods I ate when I was feeling sorry for myself.) Any suggestions?
