And in America male circumcision (which is every bit as barbaric) is still routinely performed.. correct me if I am wrong.. male circumcision removes highly sensitive sexual skin.. the foreskins purpose is to protect the glans (an eyeball-like structure).. males are sexually compromised as a result; at least one study has found that circumcized men suffer greater levels of impotence later in life due to progressive loss of sensitivity... and which country performs more of this barbaric practice than anyone? The USA....

The skin is sold to various companies.. it's a profitable business..

Male circumcision gained momentum in the USA on the back of stupid hygiene fears (what you are not able to peel back and wash?) and christian puritan values i.e. to stop men wanking and thus angering god and jesus..

It isnt a solely muslim thing.........it is also practiced in India. The idea has developed that sex is purely for the mans benefit. So, basically they cut out various parts of a girl at a young age and sew her up so she is real tight.

Wrong.... pre-marital sex - including masturbation is viewed as being sinful for both sexes. I just met a 32 year old Arab Muslim dude from Egypt , told me all about it. It's also the reason why circ was introduced to the U.S of A. before you put on ur "they're barbarians" hat.

The right answer , karma to you bud , seems like we have one other informed person on the board , 4 different types of female circ are prevalent , most common is slit above dorsal hood of clit - much less invasive than male circ (especially in these countries - normally at age of 14 whilst kid is being held down by three men) , but the worst kind - pharonic is truly truly awful.

I once knew a girl, through an ex-girlfriend, whom had been circumcised. She was originally from Ethiopia. Tall slender girl, very attractive if you’re into dark skinned women. Anyway, one time we were all out together and she started talking about it—joking around about it. It was rather strange how comfortable she was talking about it openly, although I could tell that deep down inside it really bothered her—kind of like the way that comedians deal with the hardships they experienced as kids. Circ rates in the USA are down from 95%+ to somewhere in the mid-60% range. People are slowly catching on. And those of us who weren't mutillated, those of us who were called "doggy dick" in Jr. High School locker rooms, will have the last laugh!

It's a stupid, pointless, barbaric remnant from the past that should be outlawed.
