OK im 14 and just starting to get puberty
im wondering should i start working out
or should i stick with endurance training tell im older????
 
As long as you start light and get your form down there should be no problem at all.Learn the basic lifts such as the deadlift,squat,overhead press,bench and you will be fine.Puberty is a good time to start training as your hormone levels are high and if you eat enough you can grow a fair bit of muscle if you stick to it.Also the belief that ''weightlifting stunts growth'' is a load of crap,height is predetermined by genetics mostly.I started training when I was around 15-16 and I managed to grow to 6'4,so I dont think that squatting or deadlift is going to squash you down to dwarf size :rolleyes: .

Start eating, start lifting, start busting your ass! I remember being a sophmore in highschool and laughing at myself for only being able to put a 35 on each side and barely doing parallel squats. Get an early jump, AND DONT LISTEN TO THE SHIT YOUR OTHER 14 YEAR OLD FRIENDS TRY TO TELL YOU ABOUT WEIGHTLIFTING!!!!!!!
