help please

recently i got extremely tired and felt lethargic for about 2 weeks....the doctor thinks it was due to dehydration...which i believe so too.....as i am feeling better

now i have this white stuff on my tounge which i believe is called thrush....i have looked over the symptoms of it and it says that this could be from HIV....and as i now have a cold....this possible "thrush"....and the fact that i was so dehydrated and felt so shitty that i could be showing possible symptoms of HIV/AIDs....

i havent done anything recently to be counted as risky behavior, but i have been taking injections and using steroids......now please do not flame as i lack knowledge about this....but could i possibly transmitt the disease from a dirty vial...to the syringe...and into myself

in the past i have had unprotected sex....with my last girlfriend who i was with for almost 2 years............the last time we intitiated in any contact was probably about 8 or nine months....

please fill free to add any information....any help will be greatly apperciated.

your doc didn't give you an HIV test? it is not uncommon for the top of your tongue to turn white when you have a cold.

no, he did not.....he thought i was still dry from being dehydrated....but i do have a cold still.....i want to get tested anyway....thansk for the reply

Unless you were sharing needles with people, I wouldn't worry about the gear. Dirty gear or a needle that comes into contact with an object before you infect can give you a nasty looking infection, but nothing medical treatment with antibiotics can't cure.

You sound worried. I suggest you go for an HIV test for peace of mind. Once you start thinking you have an illness, trust me, you'll find every symptom in yourself. Just get a test done and worry about something else.
