help me put together a car audio system

i am going to put a system into a 98 chevy extended cab truck. the only thing i know is that i want to run 2 10's off of a fosgate 1000.2 amp i already have. i need some advice on what the best subs/mids are. i can get great prices so go all out.

I've heard two systems with XPlode speakers and amps.

Intense stuff.

But I am no expert, so you better double check with others.

how much are you willing to fork out is the question. if you just want second rate drivers, then go to the tweeter, or some other chain store. otherwise, check out your local high end car audio shop. I would recommend boston pro series speakers, alpine or eclipse deck(w/ at least a 4v preout with sub level control), and maybe an audiocontrol epicenter eq for starters. don't forget the 1 farad capacitors and 10% of what your system is worth should be spent on cables and speaker wire. if you really want high end, get some compression horns installed professionally!

what do you guys think about those new square kickers, i've heard alot about them but i have never heard them in person. what subs would you go with in a truck box being run off of a fosgate power 1000.2

get 2 kaption 10's with box,buy some kicker's or a good 6x9 for the doors and put 4 inch round highs in the dash
