I'd love some suggestions.....I'm looking to spend less than 150 dollars, it's going to be primarily for gym usage.... what would you guys suggest, and what would you stay away from?

Dude, I have THE MP3 Player for you! I just bought it myself, also primarily for using in the gym and it is PHAT. Everybody that sees it sweats it hardcore. But it's not in stores, you have to get it off the internet and it's a little more pricey than what you want ($209) but TRUST ME it's WORTH IT. Check it out...

I know this sounds like I work for the company but trust me I don't... I just believe in endorsing products that I like and I LOVE this little MP3 player. I did my research before buying and checked out hundereds of players... I think this one is the best. Hope this helps... later

I'm on a budget....it looks nice, but what do you think makes it so much better?

128 MB internal memory, the lightest MP3 player I saw, neckstrap earphones, cool looking arm band, easy to use softwear, and super fast downloads just to name a few. Why don't you just wait a liittle while longer till you can spare the extra $50?

no way dude, it might look kewl, but I bought a nomad that takes 64 mg cards. Pissed off cause about a month later I could of bought the one with a 6 gig harddrive cheaper. That thing would hold 120 CD's. 128 megs only equals 2 CD's. I'd rather have one that could give me variety whenever I wanted it.

True it holds more, but how much does it weigh? I saw those multiple gig players but considering their weight and size, none of them seemed appropriate for a workout and/or cardio... and that's what he said he wants it for. Besides 128MB holds like 2 hours worth of tunes... more than enough for a workout.

Not real sure about the wieght but it is not much bigger than a CD player. I broke mine out in my new gym but took it off cause they play kicking music.

Well I can SPARE the extra 50....hell I probably will get this one because it sounds perfect for the gym....thanks bro, but I'd still love other suggestions. I'll be doing my own research too. =)

Cuts my man, my main concern would be durability...what if I drop this sucker? Do you think it would survive? Does it look solid?

Hmmm... well I've had mine for a couple months now, and although I've never dropped it, I have dinged it up against machines a couple times... still running fine. There's this one good site with all the MP3 players on the market... they're all reviewed, rated, and ranked depending on the criteria you select. I'll try and find it and post it up here later...
