help me out here

i have been lifting for awhile now and everything is going well. but my abs are not producing. i work them everyday. i started out at 265lbs and now down to 210 but still have flabby stomach. ready for my first cycle but i want to really attack the abs. what should i use. thought i should get everything maxed before i try a cycle. now im ready

You just stated the reason, you train abs everyday

that's absolutely wrong, training a muscle everyday will results in catabolism rather than Anabolism, even if it's the abdominal muscles which you don't want it to grow bigger but stronger, it doesn't matter

you should take enough rest, and train abs no more than 4 times a week, try hitting your obliques as well
 
one thing i noticed wrong is this: "i work them everyday"...something i would never suggest, when was the last time you worked your chest or triceps everyday...abs are a muscle group too, give them time to recuperate before you work them again. i do them monday and friday b4 anything else
 
hey thanks but its just the one thing that i look at that just isnt going right. i will cut back to see how that helps out. any i deas on a cycle that would help in that area as well.
 
ditto on weam and littlearnold..... i train abs like any other body part.. 2-3 exercises of a weighted/heavy resistance exercise (leg lifts, weighted decline sit-ups, etc) for only 10-20 reps and do them 3-4x/wk.

one thing though....this won't help with the flab = you might already have huge abs but just cant see'em cause your a little fat.. i'd try tweaking your diet too...

yes your over working your abs, and not giving them enough time to recupperate. there is no gear that wil work on one body part . it has to do with what exercises you do
 
man i feel kinda stupid for not realizing that. should of known considering i dont work the other muscles like that. would a cutting cycle be a good cycle to help out with abs. not real sure what my first cycle should be. would like more strength as well

Do you take any supplements, if not then go with supplements as E/C/A, Whey .......
you can get great results naturally before going with roids

anyway, a cycle of Primo & Anavar would be great if you just conserning about strength and shredding-up
 
i have been using this e/c/a stack
25mg/ephedrine
200mg/caffine
150mg/asprine
Taken 2 times a day
i just have been getting very frustrated lately
thinking it was time to start a cycle
 
hey thanks for the advice i have changed to working my abs and obliques to 4 days a week and im gonna do them on cardio days. thanks. if any have anymore ideas on a cycle for strength and shredding it would muchly be appreciated
