Im starting on my home gym and I just bought 300lbs in weights and a barbell...Which is enough weight for me to work out with..But I am waiting on the bench to see if it is going to go on sale a little closer to Christmas time..I can do just about everything I want with the barbell except for chest..I am wanting to know if you guys can think of anything other than regular ol' pushups that will hit the chest. Thanks in advance

Dips (put some plates in a backpack since you won't be elevated enough to use a dip belt) and overhead presses would be a decent combination.

I suppose you could try doing "bench" presses without the bench by just lying on the ground. But unless you had a makeshift rack in which you were really confident, lowered the weight significantly to account for the lack of leg drive, and picked weights/reps for which there was no chance of failure, the safety issues would make dips + press preferable.
