Help me buy a computer and a tv-

So I move into my new joint today () gonna miss my ex and her daughter and our house and dog. This morning was really tough.

ANyway I have a little piece of shit tv and no computer. I was thinking about buying a laptop and waiting on the tv until I can save up for a nice 42 in or something.

All I will use the computer for is basically internet, and some gaming. Watching dvd's on trips too I guess. Any good ones out there for under $6-700?

Check out newegg.com they usually have the best prices and best customer service. That laptop is only $499 and should be good enough for the things you want to do.

if it's vista - make sure it's at least 2gigs.

core duo at minimum.

name brands are great for you can get walk-in warranties at best buy, etc. Plus a phone # to call and yell at. My Toshiba laptop kicks butt. Dell is crap, but their CS is great. They once mailed me a new HD overnight when I simply complained about slowness. Wow.

At work.

I ended up getting a tv on Saturday. Traded one of my bikes for a 56" Toshiba DLP and $900 cash. Love the tv so far. Going to look at laptops this afternoon.
