No bro, GEAR is not the answer at this point..post up your diet and training regimen...

Get some fat burners, thermorexin for example from the AFstore, maybe some Levorex, take more than your supposed to a day not excessive, i mean like half a days dose extra, like every 3 or 4 hours, get your diet in check (5-6 small HEALTHY meals a day), start doing interval cardio- run twice a day if you really wanna get rid of the shit, cut down the time in between your lifting sets, and you'll start to get rid of the pudge. thats if your determined.. if you are then it will go away.. all it takes is a little hard work

genetics are genetics, even with aas you may still have a hard time looking like an "athlete" first you really have to focus on training and diet. I am the first to say its ok to start a cycle, as long as there is somwhat of a base to work off of. if you lost 100lbs then you are on the right track, now its about working even harder, and being patient. I forget who on here said this, but it stuck with me "it took you longer to put the weight on then it took you to lose it" keep working hard and you will get where you want to be

wow your diet needs ALOT of improvement...obviously what you did helped you loose 100lbs...where you on this same diet when that happend...
first off....loose the bacon and the cheese...throw in some oats or a piece of 100% whole wheat bread
2. i guess the shake could work, but the milk..i would get rid of that...if your going to have a shake...mix it in water...
3. get rid of the subway...have some chicken (skinnless boneless) and throw in some brown rice
4. Toss the shake bro...have a can of tuna w/apple (no not mixed)
5. chicken or lean cut meat with veggies..try to cut out the carbs out after 5pm....im sure other bros will chime in and make changes to what i have said..but its a start..now how do you train?

yes, eat at least 5 meals a day, and at this point you should be running and doing things like pushups, sprints, shit like that to tone up first. i tore my acl in 10th grade and was unable to play sports in highschool anymore and got out of shape and flabby as well but i wasnt fat, i was skinny with flab, smooth-looking. if you lift now, do moderate to high reps maybe 3 times a week but focus a lot on cutting up and getting your muscles toned and able to handle endurance. id do this for at least a few months. once your muscles are able to handle a lot of endurance-type physical strain such as running far distances, a lot of pushups/pullups/situps and high reps, then begin increasing the weight in the gym. in my opinion this is how i started out and i didnt take roids until about 4 years into serious lifting. stay away from the roids now, just eat healthy, take supplements and build up.

Atkins does work (although not the healthiest diet)... a guy here lost about 40lbs in 1 year.

Till you get off the diet....Dieting and training is a Marathon not a sprint.

If only you could just say screw genetics. Unfortunately nothing is gonna change that end of it. But if you get you training and DIET on point you'll still be suprised what you can accomplish.

Loosing so much weight might leave behind excess skin. I think in cases of such great weight loss the only really effective thing to do is have the skin removed surgically. Hard to say if you might be in that category, just a thought.

For a beginner, the diet isnt THAT bad, you need to drop the bacon though, for real. Im in the same boat, was 250 at 6 foot when i graduated, 5 years later, 228 but MUCH MORE MUSCLE. I look so much different, but it was a slow process. Your skin will slowly catch up but you got to give it time. The main thing is TIME TIME TIME. It takes time to get your routine down, your diet down, what works for you down. Start with the diet and cardio and lifting. After a couple of years when you plateau, then think AAS maybe.

You should try out a site called fitday.com its a free sign up and it'll let you plug in any kind of food you want to eat and it'll break it down into calories fat/carbs/protein for you and you can plan out your meals. Try to aim at around 11 X your bodyweight = Total Calories for the day. Try to eat a lot of protein, and good fats from your food(salmon oil, your basic omega 3,6,9) and good carbs (Low GI carbs like sweet potato and whole wheats). Splitting up your meals into 6 separate meals helped me a lot also because even though you don't get very full, your not hungry either for the whole day and since your consistantly eating small amounts it'll keep your metabolism up IMO (some may disagree). All this worked for me, but don't expect results in a couple weeks go hard for 3 months at least.. probably a good idea just not to stop. Also try to keep your good carb intake in the morning and early afternoon and try to avoid bad fats. Stay away from the starchy carbs like regular potato's, white rice, white bread.. etc and cut out any kind of sugars, candy's, sweets, pops etc. Also fitting in a 45 minute cardio session at 60-80% bpm 3-5 times a week will speed up the fat loss. This is what worked for me and sorry it's all all jammed into one paragraph but it's almost 3am for me and i'm writing this up cuz i can't really sleep.. lol

p.s. I trained like this HARD for 4 months and i lost an incredible amount of BF% and got into great shape... then i went for 1 1/2 years of straight partyin, eating, basically doing whatever i feel like and now i'm back at square 1... actually a little further than that so don't make that mistake HAHA

bingo-he could go down to 4% but the excess skin from the dramatic weight loss will still give him that flabby appearance----sucks but true---how old are you---the younger u are the more elasticity ur skin has---it will not tighten up overnite but in time-it might a little-depends on how much loose skin you actually have---

well no one has asked this question yet i don't think.

what kind of training are you doing. to me since you lost all this weight i woud guess you did a ton of cardio. (just an assumption) if you want muscle mass you gotta hit the weights hard, not cardio. u gotta get your diet together and training as well.

What type of workouts do you do?

We (I) have asked this kid 2 times what he is doing when he is doing it and yada yada yada........he seems to of left the building....
It apears to me he is doing an Atkins thing with cardio (and don't take this the wrong way hammer curls) but I am assuming that his workouts are very basic.
Don't you hate when you want to help more...then those who asked for the help.

Dude seriously post everything. EVERYTHING!! Or just don't ask again. Everyone here is going to help you out as much as they can and the fact of the matter is that you can learn what you need to do but post a full work out Sunday - Saturday. Obviously you shouldn't be working out everyday however if you are that's fine just give us the full story. You might not like what you hear but we're here to tell you what you need to know not what you want to hear and you'll be a lot smater and better in the long run.

By the way congrats on losing the weight, obviously what you've done has got the weight off now it's time to get you looking muscular. Help us help you.

This guy is a moron. Post your stats dude!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also, I know people say Atkins works, yada yada yada, but I thought the only tried and true way to lose weight is to go on a caloric deficit each week? (preferably -3500cals/wk)

Man, as far as I can tell you have been asked roughly 9 times to post up some more stats, SPECIFIC workout, etc and you are not doing it. Then you post asking people to start helping you with a new plan and you'll go from there. These guys WANT to help you but you REALLY need to do some research on your own first and at least tell us your stats. By stats I mean hieght, weight, age, specific workout (not just I work out your basic split) there is no such thing as a basic split because everyone has their own thing, and depending on your goals you may be doing the wrong workouts. If you want to learn, use the search button and answer these guys when they ask you a specific question! You wouldn't call a mechanic and tell him to fix your car and just tell him it's an American made car would you? He would obviously need a lot more information to figure out what is wrong with your car and then either fix it or tell you what to do to fix it. Your body is like an engine. You need to take care of certain fluids and also use a clean gas, and in the case of a diesel you need to break it in and drive it hard to have it reach it's optimum performance. In this case if you want your engine to run as good as it can then ANSWER the "mechanics" here and not only will you get some results but hopefully people will start to take you seriously, and not see you as just "another newbie that doesn't want to listen ot learn". Now, please post your age, weight, hieght, body fat % if you know it, what excercises or body parts you work out on what days, how much cardio you do, why style of lifting do you do (by that I mean do you lift high reps/low weight, or low reps high weight), etc, etc. Good luck bro.

ugh... use the search function bro. read the nutrition section.

your diet is shit.

these same questions keeo getting asked over and over and over and over again... the info is out there bro!!!

fucking hell, pick up a "muscle and fitness" or something... there's always tons of nutritional advice in that rag.

Hammercurl,
Good job on the weight loss. I have lost 200 lbs in the last 4 years so I know the dedication it takes.

Remember, the great physique doesn't occur overnight....it will take 10 years or more, especially with the metabolism damage caused by massive weight loss. Since you are young, your skin may tighten up with time....if not, surgery is the next step.

I think your base diet is fine, but your workout regimen needs work. Find a good plan (HIT, HST, OT-max, Big beyond belief, etc) and stick with it. Do the research, buy a couple of books, buy a couple of training videos (Skip LaCour does the best job explaining stuff, the Mentzer HIT video is good too).
