I need to buy a new laptop computer. I have NO idea where to start or what to look for. What is the best kind? What are the differences between all the different screen types? What should i avoid???

i got a gateway 1450 bad ass all i need and it wasnt too $$$ anf gateway has some kick ass free service if your shit dont work real good......i couldnt be more happy with it

why do you NEED a laptop? i bought a decent laptop last year for $1200, i hated it.

8 months later i had my friend build me a desktop computer for $900, fucking awesome, fast as shit, for a great price. havent had a problem with it yet...

BUT if you want a laptop i would go with something like HP or gateway, they are pretty good. i would avoid sony and Dell just because of bad personal experiences
