hey bros
well i was doingmy 1 cc of fina (honebrew) that i do EOD and tonight was time for my right tri (have been going left glute, right glute, right tri, then left tri) and have had no problems thus far well tonight was different......i got my shower (which i usually do) then loaded the needle (25 g 5/8) i then cleaned the area with rubbing alcohol and proceeded to stick myself once in i started to aspirate and bam dark blood and when i say dark blood i mean on the verge of brown poured in the syringe....i pulled the needle out and put pressure on my arm to get the bleeding to stop, it did and i got rid of the blood in the needle and switched to another needle and proceeded to shoot into my left tri...this went fine.....my question is what in the hell was the dark brown blood possibly from, i have had no unusual pain nor swelling, no fever no nothing....could i have just hit a vein...when i push on my tri it feels normal like nothings moving around in there at all (ie puss) its not warm to the touch everything is normal.....do you guys have any ideas what happned here, i am a lil freaked but not to the point where im running to the ER just yet.....any info or advice would be greatly appreciated

It could just be regular blood

Or maybe you injected into a previously bruised area where there was some coagulated blood the got pushed into the syringe?

I think you passed through a vein most likely, but I wouldn't sweat it.

You pulled out and haven't had any problems from it yet, so I would just wait it out.
