Hey guys, I am new to this forumn. I have been lifting continuously for the past 2 1/2 months. I am 19yrs old 160lbs and about 5'10...I want to gain some mass, mainly in my arms and chest. The only thing that I noticed that has grown since I started lifting is my bi's. I want to take a good protein, and a good multi-vitamin. What are your guys reccomendations. Also, I want to stay away from creatine to so please keep that in mind.

Thanks in advance !

Protein blend at all times apart from post and pre workout
whey protein + Dextrose/Glucose + Maltodextring post workout
Any Strong multivitamin realy, I use GNC Megamen
Lots of Steak and red meat!!!

May I ask why no to creatine?

Mainly no creatine, because people I know who have taken it have gained alot of water weight...I dont want to have to rely on that mainly, I would just like to stay away from it

Some one help me out here....

Only 19 yrs old and lifting for only 3 months?? The only "suppliments" you should even think about at this early point of your lifting career should be food and water...and LOTS OF IT!

Your DIET is THE most important thing you body needs to be perfect. After so many years of lifting, im finally starting to see the light myself on this matter. My diet has been horrible for years, and my gains have been good, but not great.
Lots of protein (chicken, tuna etc...) is now in my diet for the last few months, and my body changes have been great. Almost at the competing level, which is where i want them.

The only supps, this early in the stage you should worry about - IF ANY - Protein drinks and maybe creatine....

Once youve been lifting for a few years, your receptors will respond 100% to supps then they would now.

Hope i helped....
