The weekend is finally among us!

Not only is it a weekend. It's a long weekend. 5 fucking days long. And you're right it's going to be great. For today is the first day I've had off since April 27th.

Heck, I work in the mud, sorry if some got slung your way :)
Maybe it was the mud line that came free yesterday and smacked some poor roughneck in the noggin' He didn't even see the big snake come out of the hole before it bit him. Just a graze though, his head is intact and mostly operational still.

Should have 24 hours off for casing break starting this afternoon. Then back to work. After this we have to move the rig back up the mountain so I should get about 4-5 days off. Heading back to Denver to see friends and family. Then back to work. Hopefully I get a promo soon, then wait a year or so and get a house in Denver and big brand new truck. Don't need time off for now, maybe when or if I get a family or a girlfriend lol.

My drive in rocked my little world so I'm hoping the rest of the day is grand.

I like Mondays more than Fridays. Mondays I don't have hope that the weekend is so soon upon me and my day goes faster. On Fridays I'm just looking at the clock all day waiting to leave.
