Hedp Plz-Package Undeliverable

I live in an apartment complex which has a small mail box and larger packages usually are dropped off at the main office and picked up by the individuals living at the complex. My package shows that it was delivered, but was undeliverable. Does this mean that I it couldn't fit in my box and the mailman didn't think to leave it at the office?

It is addressed to an apartment here, but not to any name that lives here. Surely, the office people don't check every package to make sure the name on it lives here. Also, I did not receive a letter saying that it was not delivered and that I should pick it up at the post office; nor did I receive a customs letter. The only reason I know all of this is because I have the tracking number. Obviously, I will not try to pick it up at the post office. Do you think they will try to re-deliver it? What should I do? Thanks!

you would be surprised how fucking nazi the post office people are delivering mail to Apartment complexes.... I had lots of issues with just regular mail... bad idea to use a fake name to an apartment... you can try to explain it to the post office, like the name is a friend of yours or something... but as far as using a fake name because you think you are "safer" dont be an idiot... obviously as you can see now, it has made you no safer... Because now you have to GO to the post office and pick up a package not sent to you.... they may not even give it to you.

Bro, you fucked up by having it put in a different name! mail carriers definitely deliver by name!! Write the name inside your apt. mailbox, then call the post office and tell them to re-deliver it! Dont act scared! talk to them like they messed up! tell them the name is good, and that it says so in your mailbox and that you are very unhappy with their service! demand they redeliver asap. when they come to del, they wont ask for i.d. unless it is a registered package. if registered, when they deliver, tell them so and so is not home, but you will sign. they will not have a problem. get on it quick because your package is going to be returned to sender!
