Heads up for sources and consumers

I had a talk with the manager at my local P.O today...they are being advised to report any suspicous packages/letters ect due to the Anthrax scare...She also told me that customs is opening a higher % of packages regardless of the origin of the sending country...for anyone who sends or recieves packages now might not be the best time...especially if your package is going to pass through customs..a side not for those who may run steroids across the US/Canada border...I sat at the border last night for 45 minutes as each and every vehicle was inspected by two customs officials entering the country...inspection heading to the US was suprisingly routine

I'm sure all carriers are on a highted alert....not to say domestic packs are going to be checked...but from what I'm hearing customs is not going to be much fun with the state of the world right now

I have 3 friends that work for UPS they are checking very few packages and most of them are to business not private residence or mailboxes
