Headaches....

Since i've been doing the DC thing ive hit pr's every single time ive been in the gym for the past 2 months.

The other day i tacked on another 40 pounds to my leg press and although my low rep set was fine, as I got to the grinding end of my 20 rep set I had a massive dull pain in the back right side of my head.

Rep 16 - beginning to feel pain
Rep 17 - Starting to really hurt
Rep 18 - Ow, Maybe i should stop
Rep 19 - Maybe i should stop before i have an aneuyrism
Rep 20 - Aww #$@@ it. If i die, at least i die making a pr.

Pain went away after 10 seconds and did not bother me for the rest of the workout.

Had the same problem the next day, not working out but at home doing some cardio on the treadmill, only lasted a couple of seconds though.

Only thing ive changed during the past 2 days has been my haircut!

Went from a full head of hair to Mr. Clean.

I'm noticing that my if im exerting myself and then get a burst of fresh cool air (either in the gym from an open door, or from my basement window) i get that pain in my head.

Am i going crazy? Could my haircut possibly be the problem, insane as that may sound?

I've never had any problems with headaches, rarely ever get them.

Now im just fearing tommorrows workout. Any ideas anyone?

You could stretch out and warmup your head and neck prior to lifting. Get some blood in there. You could also consider lifting in a hat (winter type). I always lift in a hat as it helps me maintain body temerature when lifting.

Head aches are usually caused by not getting enough water. This is a #1 factor. Secondly, when you work out your blood pressure can elevate, thus causing headaches as well. People say I drink plenty of water. My response, "evidently not enough."
