HCG suppressing HPTA at low doses

Hi guys,
After my cycle I used HCG ED 1000IU's for 1 week, together with Clomid & Nolvadex. I noticed that I was putting on water and not retaining my muscle as usual. After I stopped the HCG I noticed things going back to normal.

I am wondering if the HCG suppresed my system and lost time with the recovery.
I am supposed to go for some blood in Feb, but want to make sure I am recovred nefore going.

3 shots of 500iu's EOD is the most I would ever have to do. People get a little crazy with this more is better for HCG, but they dead wrong as it is actuallu counter-productive.
