HCG shelf life

Wanting to get all the HCG facts straight before starting my cycle.

How long does the unreconstituted HCG last and is it best to keep it in the fridge?
Once reconstituted how long does it last in the fridge?
If doing 500IU a week, then the vial will have to be viable for 10 weeks. Is this OK?
If so then one vial will last for the full 10 week cycle, starting week 3 and run 2 weeks pc?

My dr told me it was only good for like 30 days after constitution. But I haven't looked into it myself

This is what i heard as well....30-40 after reconstituting

So for a 10 week cycle I should get 3 vials, but throw over half away each month? 4x500=2000iu out of a 5000iu vial a month.

Can you get 2000iu vials?

Any advice?

I've seen places where you can buy 1000iu vials but I can't remember where off hand

Depends on the brand of HCG. Most range from 30-60 days after reconstitution according to the insert.

Thanks for your help RADAR on this and my other thread. So do you normally buy 2000iu vials or run hcg differently?

I have heard that we can also run hcg high dose near the end of the cycle of 1000iu every day for a week or something like that.

This sounds like it would work for 5000IU vials.

Any thoughts on this use of hcg?

I use Novarel. My NP instructed me to put 10ml of BW into the 10,000IU vial of HCG and inject .5ccs weekly. Put the remainder into the fridge. It will last quite awhile. Under these instructions, the vial should last about 20 weeks if I calculated that correctly. She's been doing hormone replacement for a long time and also knows just the right labs to check for. (I also do testosterone cypionate and Arimidex.)
