HCG question

Hi guys,

I've been on TRT for the past 4 years now. I started when I was 19.

I've been doing 100mg a week and 0.5mg Adex 2x/week. I tried PCT once and failed miserably (well... judging by the way I felt, anyway) so I hopped right back on the TRT train. At the time I knew the boys were back in business because I got my GF pregnant. :D

Anyway, I don't really have any intention of stopping soon but I know eventually I'll have to.

My question is about HCG and the reason I ask is because my libido has taken a major nosedive recently and I had a vial of HCG my friend gave me and I gave it a shot and lo-and-behold my libido returned in full force.

So now I ordered two 5,000UG amps of HCG and will inject 500ug twice a week for a couple of months to see what happens. Is this a good idea?

I read a troubling article about how if you don't use HCG on-cycle that your testes will never fully recover. Is this true about HRT as well? I imagine that after 4 years of constant use things are looking rather bad in terms of full recovery.

Anyway, does anyone have any idea why the HCG brought my libido back to normal and has anyone successfully gotten off of HRT (or a cycle without HCG) and to pre-HRT T and LH/FSH levels?

You only need 250IU hcg at a crack to keep the testes working. By using HCG on cycle means your testes are never truly shut down and you should recover from a cycle much faster than if its not used. TRT is basically a mild, albeit long, cycle so there is no difference there, both shut you down but TRT for an extended period so it would be harder t come back from.

Many people have gotten off cycle and trt without hCG it just takes longer, how long? Anyones guess, different for everyone. HCG use will still prevent optimal LH/FSH levels because it mimics LH thats why, IMHO, its best to use HCG while on cycle and until the long esters clear along with your anti-e, then get off it. Id consider riding out a low dose adex post cylce for a bit though.
