HCG 500iu 3x-Week / 3 weeks instead of 1000iu's

A friend of mine can only get one 5000iu HCG kit with Clomid and Nolva for PCT. I told him he should run 1000iu's 3x a week for 3 weeks but he claims there is no way he can get another 5000iu's. So his question is "How effective is this going to be?" Is it a waste if he cannot do 1000iu's 3x a week 3 weeks. I could get him more from my source, but he is out of stock right now too, and it is time for him to start his PCT.

He would be doing the following:

HCG 500iu's 3x a week 3 weeks
Clomid 50mg ED 5 weeks
Nolva 20mg ED 5 weeks

Just like Ulcasterdropout said, it's better than nothing. My personal opinion is that it's a crap shoot. 3,000-5,000 IU's HCG is the weekly total that I recommend. Therefore, if using 500 IU's per injection, I would recommend daily injections that equate to the weekly total. If that's all that he has and is not able to obtain anymore, I would recommend using the Clomid and Nolvadex combination for a full 6 weeks. Keep the Nolvadex dosage constant at 20 mgs ED but increase the Clomid dosage to 100 mgs ED for the first 3 weeks the decrease it to 50 mgs ED for the second 3 weeks. The only other option is to stay on for just a bit longer if the HCG can be obtained within a reasonable time frame.
