HCG 250IU Syringe Question

I need to get 250IU HCG out of a 1mL Syringe.
The problem is these syringe's are numbered 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, and so forth up to 1.0 ML

I was told to get 250IU of HCG the plunger needs to be exactly 1 "tick" past 0.1Ml.

Can anyone confirm this?

Its just basic math really.

How is your HCG mixed? How much HCG is in the bottle and how much BAW did ya add?

if you have a 10,000 IU bottle of HCG and you add 10ML water then you have 1000IU per ML correct?

Then if you have a 1ml syringe how many IU will you have if you fill it full? 1000IU

so if you want 250IU only and 1ml is 1000IU then logic would indicate you want 1/4 of a 1ml syring. Look at the marks on the side divide by 4 and fill it to that level.

Mine is mixed at 5ML BAW to 10,000IU.
So, based on that info, it the nurse correct at just over 0.1ML ?

10,000IU divided into 5ML would make it 2000IU per ML.

1/2ml = 1000IU
1/4ml = 500IU
1/8ml = 250IU
