i'm guessing they will give both sides of the story, which is why they contacted george. are they going to be able to come out and give lots of statistics on how many people die every year from AS? no. it all depends on the aspect of the story.

Will HBO also film the guy getting caught at the border by the customs agents, strip searched by gloves, then handcuffed and taken away .... This would be pretty dramatic, I think HBO might want to do something like that just to boost ratings and pass the message " Crime doesn't pay..Can't escape justice, etc"

Even if HBO portray AAS Usage as a great thing with no side effects and it will better lives (which would be BS), it's still illegal and won't be made legal! EVER!

So the only reason to do this would be for bragging rights? Or your naive thought that it would do any good at all. What does going to mexico and buying AAS prove? That it can be done? IT will just show how easy it is to do it. And HBO will exploit it, and all you did was give them a story to fill a 15 minute segment for the week. You will be used.

I agree with the last few bros. Bad idea George. 69muscle has had several good points, the best of which being that we want no attention, positive or negative. Nothing good can come of this.

Even if this was to become a positive report on steroids(yeah right), why do we need it? Don't we want to just be left alone? I don't need the acceptance of the fat bastards and pregnant housewives watching HBO and quaffing pizzas. We live in our own seperate world of dedication and discipline. Lets keep it that way.

Thanks Mustang, I appreciate it. But, I am basically pretty shy and I do not want to become another Bill Philips or Joe Weider. I think it is good for me to champion our cause, while at the same time not make a spectacle of myself.

Exactly the reason I would be very careful about how your name and this sites name is brought up. I would hate to see this place go down due to a few uneducated people that watched the show and felt this site should be shut down.

I would be very surprised if the show really did present itself as un-biased. I don't think it will happen.....

i can certinaly see where you all are coming from but what if they do the special and we have no positive voice speaking for us???? That would be worse! The war on drugs is failing, everyone knows it. They have way bigger problems than AS to worry about. Most cops don't even care. (hell half of them are on) there is two sides to consider here. It is worse to not have a voice in this if they do it anyway.
