Having ATV troubles

I own a 2001 Honda Rancher

I have a brand new battery installed, also new spark plugs

I am having trouble starting it every day let me tell you exact what I do
but its not the battery for sure

1.Put key in, press start, makes noise (good batt) but doesnt connect, can try for 5 minutes and still nothing

2.Since wont start, I remove seat, open air filter compartment,remove filter, place my hand over hole to force gas out and it starts that way

3. Once cranks, put all back, go out ride for hours and hours, (after riding for a little while it doesnt have any trouble. I park and leave


4. The next day (not even 24 hrs) I go out and its not starting again, have to redo all that

What could the problem be and whats my solution

Carb isn't getting primed. Could be fuel pump or electric primer. Probably primer as you aren't having problems while riding.
