Have you seen 'The Notebook'?

Who here has seen this movie? What'd you think?

When I first saw previews for it, before it initially was out in theatres, it didn't really pique my interest but I've heard some good things about it and now I really want to see it... I think I may make JerseyArt watch it with me... bwahahaha

Good movie.. total chick movie.. but even I had a hard time holding back a tear at the end.

Really makes you feel for older married couples.

I actually like these types of movies. (sentimental love movies) Moreso now than before, as my girl had either forced or persuaded me to watch the the type/similar at times. Eventually I realized not all were that bad. "The Notebook"...I have not seen it yet, but it does look like something I would want to see. I am a sentimental guy by nature, but I still am particular in what I am willing to watch. Some "chick-flicks" out now, are just too annoying for me to watch, and totally cheeze me out. On occasion, you will get one that even a guy can relate to and enjoy. I guess it is the nature of the film, age of the actors, and maturity level of the movie.

"The Notebook" I thought looked like it could be good. I will see it soon.

If there isnt a lot of female nudity in that movie, you'll be providing it :chomp:

I hated it. It is sooo mushy and lame I wanted to punch the screen three times and puked twice. I mean one of the lines the chick said to the dude. Tell me I am a bird. And he says yes you are a bird. What the hell? Either they are the goofiest mushiest people I have ever witnessed. OR they got the oringinal window pane acid.

Any dude that likes that movie is total wussy girly boy crossing the line into being gay....oh sorry milo.

Remember those 5-star notebooks that use to have the velcro flab to store stuff on the outside and neat pockets on the inside?

Those things ruled!

I heard it was good
I really wanna see it

lol @ you people who read books.

Life is too short to read. Get books with pictures instead.

i hate to break it to u but in the end they find out theyre all ghosts (the mom killed them all) and its all really set in modern times bc the elders want to pull this huge hoax, and the cripple isnt really crippled (and behind everything), and the dude with the short term memory lasps really killed his wife. sorry, but u can see those coming a mile away. regardless, good movie.

Books are much better though.

I agree but like alien says they take to long to read. And it is hard to eat and drink while reading. I think you should live life doing action things while you are young enough to do them and read when you get old and fixi'n to die.

What valid point? Younger and older thing? No.

Reading is a way to relax. I admit I don't read books all the time but I do read books that interests me. I find it calms me down plus there is so much more details in books that movies leave out.

Like I said, I do agree with you books are better but they take more time. If you need books to calm you down, you must not have a motorcycle. I would buy one today if I was you so you can start living life instead of reading about it.

Yea that's what I need a motorcycle. Since I have never ridden one it sounds like I would probably be enjoying life from a wheelchair. No thanks.

They got lessons. I am telling you dude. No matter how stressed I am I get on a bike and I am one with the road and the machine. What a rush.

I have friend that took lessons now he is a quadraplegic. I don't think that is for me.

If you had a friend that lost his eyesight from reading too much would you put down your books?

But seriously sorry about your friend bro that sucks.

Again, you are amazing....lol

Yea it is pretty sad. He was VP at a large corp and now he gets fed by a straw.

Dang, did a cage run over him? Or what happened? How long had he been riding before it happened?

He had just started riding and was using the backroads to practice with some of his friends and he swerved to miss a cat and well you know the rest.

It's really sad to think about it.

Dang, does he hate cats now? I hope if that ever happens to me that I just checkout. I would hate to be like that.

Backroads are scary sometime. We ride em sometimes at 140+. And I am always worried about some animal darting across the street. The other day I was doing 110 and a cow bird(the big white ones)flew right up out of a ditch at. Like I said when you're on a bike you forget about everything other than what is on the road.
