my husband did because he ran out of gas. He had to push it on the highways shoulder to the nearest gas station. Every dude on a Harley that passed him by laughed.

was this AFTER the blowout? gosh darn Stick.

Happened just after 2pm. I was just headed into town for the weekend. fortunately it happened close to the job site and not 60 miles into the desert.

Someone is paying for this one though and it ain't me. The shop that replaced my back tire a few days ago said they had adjusted and lubed the chain when they did the tire change. Sounds like someone fucked up to me!

they will never admit to it. A friend of ours had his bike done at a shop and they didnt place teh chain well. I forgot what went wrong, but when he confronted them, they denied any fault on their side

We'll see what happens. The guys there are super cool and have gone out of their way to help me. I'm hoping that won't disappear when the fault falls on them. The least they could do is give me a new chain and install it.

btw, I was sitting on a 'busa in their showroom the other day. I could get real used to a bike like that!! They only wanted $10,999 for it! About $3 grand less than Anchorage!

Brand spankin' new! Right off the showroom floor. I was amazed how comfortable it was just sitting on it. I was always concerned about that because of how long the bike is. But it was sweet!

yeah, I heard its comfterable as hell too. The length doesnt really make that big of a difference, my husband extended the swingarms and he says that it handles even better. What kind of bike did you have now? Did you buy it brand new?

No kidding. Whats up Stick did you buy a turd or something? Maybe not a car but a better bike. And on your way there you can use that broken chain to beat the living shit out of the dude that sold it to you.

LOL!! I think it's just an old bike that needs some extra attention. It's an '84 Honda Magna. I picked it up for $900. I just needed some transpo and I knew I would have to put some TLC into it. Only thing I didn't think about was that I live in THE MIDDLE OF FRIGGIN' NOWHERE!! and getting repairs brings its own set of challenges.
