Have U Had Surgery?

where have u got it? i got shot in the eye with a pellet gun when i was 6 i almost lost my eye. thats the only time i have. i might need some on my knee here shortly.

I remember the last time I was convinced that I was going to die. I couldn't sleep for days before. On the day of, I just started praying after the sleeping gas hit. I started it like this...

"God, you know that I'm desperate or scared when I start praying to you...."

If you have insurance, then don't worry about it. I do. So, each time I go under, I think that if the worse should happen my family will be taken care of. Let's me go a little easier.

I had my rotator cuff worked on arthroscopically last year. I was a little bit nervous before the operation but it turned out to be a good experience (at least as good as can be expected for surgery). There was minimal pain and you can barely see the scars now. My shoulder is about 90% of where it was before the injury. There are some movements that still cause a bit of pain but I can do lifts like incline presses that were impossible for me to do before even with very little weight.
 
well i had a butt load of surgeries. i had my scalp repaired after a diving accident. i had 2 pylonidal cyst's removed. had about 7 surgeries total on my left ankle. 5 surgeries on my lower back. now i have to go in and have my shoulder repaired from a boating accident. is it bad when the people at the hospital know you by name and dont have to look at the chart?
 
I've had

1 shoulder surgery to reattach my bicep tendon, and repair my labrum

1 shoulder surgery to open the ac joint so my arm moves easier

carpel tunnel surgery on both wrists

1 cyst removed from my right shoulder

and that is enough. :(

I always get very sick when the put me under. :sick:
 
I had tubes put in my ears when I was a baby
I had my tonsils and adnoids taken out when I was 6 or 7
I had some dead dude's compressed achilis tendon shoved into a few holes drilled into my leg bones crossing between them inside my knee and then screwed in as well as some pretty sculptures on my knee cartiledge.

I swear the dead dude that they got the tendon from was black. My dick is about 2 inches big ever since the surgery.

Scope is surgery :-) just not very invasive.
 
Yep. A professional boxer broke my nose during a sparring session. I was about to crack his ribs and he got me first.
 
Had my right hand pinned back together after a nasty car accident...damn good thing I had a steady girlfriend at the time, because I'm right handed. Dude, if you get Demerol...you are in for one hell of a WICKED buzz.

And btw : I gotta get my knee scraped out too, for now though, wrapping it is really helping the pain. It's outpatient surgery from what my doc told me. I just gotta find the time to do it.
 
Had a partial medial meniscectomy in December...still in a lot of pain right now...although it is not from the meniscus, but from the bone bruises that have developed on the base of my femur.
 
When I was little I fell with my knee on an icy sharp metal. I had to be stiched up without being on any anasthetic. All I could do was bite on wooded spoon to release the pain.

It hurt so much but I had not tears only screams.
 
Except for a surgery for phimosis when I was two, which I can't recall, my only surgery has been for stitches after a dog bite. My parents had surgery, though, so I guess it might run in the family.
 
Sheesh, how can phimosis be diagnosed in a 2-year-old? Sometimes it takes longer than that to detach, hell mine wouldn't retract at all until I was at least 10.
 
I had my tonsils out when I was 20 and some other throat surgery too. I've had 2 wrist surgeries. The first one was botched and the 2nd one went perfect.

Scoped is surgery, but its like a twilight anesthesia. They'll make sure your comfortable and sedated well enough.

I've has several surgeries and you'll only be anxious enough for...............

I remember when they put me under for my hand....dude was like "Count backwards from 99 to 0. I remember getting to 97.

I had my left knee done...it definately sucked. The feeling I had when I first came to in recovery was brutal...I hate being groggy. The nurse kept offering me water and toast...I demanded coffee, as I wanted to be alert ASAP. She finally gave in...and I downed it as fast as I could and immediately asked for another. She was hesitant. I told her if she didn't, I was going to get up and hop over to the coffee machine and get it myself. So, in total I had 4 coffees and shook that terrible post-anesthetic feeling as fast as was humanly possible.

I know that feeling...when I woke up I was ready to kill the first thing within reach...nurse was feeding me ice chips and I was spitting them back out and bitching at her. I guess it's common to come to, and be all pissed off.

Also, when they pin bones back together, the 'pins' are actually tiny little drill bits that they drill into your bone, and then snip them off with just enough extra left above the skin to grab them, and remove with pliers when they are ready to come out. Felt like someone pounded NAILS into my hand.

Not fun.
 
I´ve had several operations done on my face. small growths.

I´ll probably need more when I get hit in the sharp fencing thing I do.

I´ve considered gynecomastia removal too. Even when I lose weight it´s still kind of apparent. My gf doesn´t care/is used to it though. but should we break up I´d be very nervous about it with whoever comes next.
 
yeah i had a hernia when i was little waaaaaaaaaaaay down low on my abdomen/pelvis. anytime a girl asks what it is, i tell her its a scar from the penis reduction ;)

a couple of times theyve said, in all seriousness, "really?!"
