Has anyone here

-ever had a so-called "friend" that seemed like a REALLY good friend (but really just a friend, no sexuals) of the opposite sex
-told other chick/dude that u were more than friends just to get another girl jealous and seem more desirable to the other girl
-and then dump you as their friend after the other girls starts dating them because the other girl/guy wasn't ok with the friendship
Has this ever happened to you?

The first two, yes...not sure about the last part.
 
no but i did have a friend once who i would talk to ALL the time but not so much these days.... :(
 
Any time you have a friend of the opposite sex you're likey to get dumped once they're in a serious relationship. Whether the relationship is sexual or not you'll be seen as a threat by the new SO.

Yea, but honestly, prolly 90% of my friends have always been male. Chicks just bore me with the caddy gossip and makeup talk.
You are right about the SO's getting jealous. They sometimes do until they have been around long enough to know that I really am NO threat.
My problem with this guy is that I have MAJOR reasons (heard from other people and the shit he says around other people TO ME) to indicate that he wants them to think he had special benefits with me or I liked him more than a friend. Almost like he wants the other girl to think I WANTED HIM... like he's wanting her to think I was competition or something.
Maybe so she would feel like she "won" or so she would think he was hawter bc other chicks wanted him..? ... or something.
I don't get it but she thinks I wanted him and he seems to be going along with it.
By the way, he was very FAR from hawt. I just thought he was a smart, nice guy and liked talking to him.

Yes but since you are NOT far from hawt, he definitely wanted to bone you; because that's the way men are.

yeah, and if by dumping you mean you mean kinda fall out of touch with someone than yes to all three. meh, it didn't make me upset though to be "used" so to say. he confessed everything after his girlfriend took him back, so i said "cool man, no worries" and things kinda stayed the way they were for while until we just lost touch.

YES! It was nice. I am about to DRIVE (yuk!) to Oklahoma to see my 2 lil brothers. I will give u a call when I get back. Sounds like ur new girl is keeping u happy. Great! You deserve it.
