Has anyone seen the movie "Old Boy"?

Fucking AMAZING film, but definately not for someone whose sensitive. The action, the plot progression, sound track, cinematography..everything about this film was perfect. I can't believe Hollywood is making a remake of this...oh man, its gonna suck giant goat balls.

This guy gets picked up randomly one night by a group of people and thrown into a room. He stays there, all alone, for 15 years. No windows, no noise, no doors, nothing.

One day, he wakes up outside the room, dressed in a suit and with a cell phone in his pocket. Someone calls and tell his he has 5 days to figure out who put him in that room. Oh boy there is some blood when he finds these folks, let me assure you.

Those asians make some great movies.

I saw the movie ... and I'm trying to figure out how Hollywood is going to handle the ummm, grand finale, so to speak (when everything is finally revealed), because I just can't see them being true to original, there's just no way, not in our culture.

THe ppl that imprisoned the man is the CEO of some big name corporation. WHat happened was that back when they were in highschooll, the dude who gets imprisoned witnessed the kid (who would later become the CEO) have sex with his sister. He tells his friend who tells everyone and eventually everyone thinks his sisters a slut and the girl gets all emotionally shattered and commits suicide. THe brother later grows up and kidnaps the dude and imprisons him for 15yrs. Why? Because the dude who gets kidnapped, his daughter, is like 3-4 and in 15 ys she will be 18 -19 (cant remember) the exact age that his sister was when she commited suicide due to the rumor, back in the day. Well, using hypnosis he also kidnaps the dudes daughter , makes the guy and his daughter think they are complete strangers, make them encounter each other , and fall in love. And I really do not want to get into anymore details because , well it gets really fucked up from that point on. THe plot follows the guy going around beating up ppl with a hammer once he was released from his prison,as he tries to find out whats going on. One of the best parts is when he yanks out all of this guys' teeth with the hammer as revenge. Now go watch it and stop ruining amazing movies for yourself.
