Has anyone here read "As I lay Dying"?

Its by William Faulkner and its one of the greatest, if not THE greatest book I've ever read. People who've read it : agree/diasagree?
 
I know, this is the first time i logged on today. Ive been really busy. I'll do yours right now, infact. the others have to wait cuz I like 10 mins of free time.

No worries, if you ever have the time.. its only 240 pages, its amazing. BTW, I just did your 1-10 thing. Now off to bed. 'night!
 
Its a very sad story, written in stream of conciousness style. It is told from multiple view points of the characters, so there isnt really a single protagonist. Its really heavy on the metaphores and individualism philosophy. Its about this lady whose dying (and eventually dies) but she wishes to be buried at her birthplace. So her family to grant her last wish load up her body in a wagon and take it 40 miles to the town she wished to be buried in. The story basically chronicles the problems that afflict the family as they drag this body 40 miles to this town, and its told from different viewpoints. It got this noble prize of literature thing- its absolutely amazing.
