Yes I started taking it about two months ago.............
This is what I posted on another board, and some of the feedback
I have been getting cacao nibs from Fresh and Wild or Planet Organic, cause they are so yummy mixed with Goji Berries, who need chocolate when you can have the raw beans.
Anyway, this Of the Earth superfood company also had this stuff called Maca Powder, and I thought I would give it a go.
Tastes great, kindof like plain or vanilla whey protein
This is what it is for:
Maca is a root vegetable, native to Peru. Native Peruvians have traditionally used maca since before the time of the Incas for both nutritional and medicinal purposes. Today, dried maca roots are ground to a powder and used as a food supplement, often to boost energy or fertility. Maca is a powerful adaptogen, which means it has the ability to balance and stabilize the body's systems and helps normalise our steroid hormones like testosterone, progesterone, and oestrogen.
maca's hormone-balancing properties make it an ideal food supplement for people with acne.
Maca is also rich in essential amino acids, fatty acids, sterols, alkaloids, tannins, phytochemicals and minerals, including calcium, magnesium, iron, potassium, silica and iodine. Not only is it a good source of protein, but that protein has also been shown to be stable after many months of storage.
Since maca is a food, it can be used in much higher doses than most other medicinal herbs and can also be used over a long period of time without harmful effects.
Where you can get it:

It is regarded as a highly nutritious food and as a medicine that enhances strength and endurance and also acts as an aphrodisiac. During Spanish colonization maca was used as currency.
The nutritional value of dried maca root is high, similar to cereal grains such as rice and wheat. It contains 60% carbohydrates, 10% protein, 8.5% dietary fiber, and 2.2% fats. Maca is rich in essential minerals, especially selenium, calcium, magnesium, and iron, and includes fatty acids including linolenic acid, palmitic acid, and oleic acids, and 19 amino acids, as well as polysaccharides.Maca's reported beneficial effects for sexual function could be due to its high concentration of proteins and vital nutrients, though maca contains a chemical called p-methoxybenzyl isothiocyanate, which reputedly has aphrodisiac properties.
