has anyone ever just started a new life?

I'd never do anything like that.

Running away from your problems is never the way to go about anything. It makes you a stronger, better person to face them and rise above them. Life is all about what you make of it, despite the hard knocks that life deals you, I think it's all about challenges and progressive evolution = becoming a better person through helping others.

Yes I've done it twice.

What a feeling.. :D

I think everyone should do it at least once in their life!
Move away from there home town.

i recently moved back, but have considered making a move on my own again...i dont think it would be the best idea though, because the sorts of friendships/quality relationships you foster in your adulthood just arent as deep as your school friends, or distant relatives...most of the new "friends" i made while i was away were really relationships of convenience, and didnt stand the test of time (more than 5 year old friendships, not like i met them in a bar) or the distance, while the people i know from my childhood are rock steady, as am i in reciprocation

:)

Great point. That's the main thing about it. There certainly are exceptions, as some of my friends I have met through different locations are really rock solid and truly some of my best friends. But you can't beat the friends you have grown up with.

i have, but i was a kid. moved to another state, changed identities, (names/school) only had what fit in a suitcase.

jerkbox you need a fight club...ditch the Bruno slippers and the yuppie coffee you swill, move out of your "chic" 'hood and found a nice abanded warehouse to reside in.

A very, very quiet life.
I would not suggest doing it. No matter what stuff you ditch,
the place you move, the people you alienate...you're stil stuck with yourself. Square 1.
There's no escape

that depends on what you're running from.
