Has anyone else had this happen??

I havnt been around some of my family in a while ..2 years ,they live to far to visit ,or what ever but any way .I show up at the family reunion ,and someone says where did you get all that muscle? I say i have always had it .They say yea i knew you worked out but fuck man what you on?I really had not thought about it, but Im up probaly 30 + lbs since i last saw most of them.I really didnt relize it .Yea my shirts are tighter ,my waist is smaller ,ect... I really hadnt relized the muscle i had put on..I was really pumped ,someone finally noticed the hard work.but acused me of being on something ,I am..was but how do they know?But it was nice to be noticed.
 
i put 30lbs on last year... yeah, folks i havn't seen in a while do a double take. yes it feels great!
 
yeah-- it happens. nice compliment and easy to dodge because even though they ask no one really believes it.

steroid users are all 300lbs with veins popping out of their heads
 
i had sort of the oppsite happen---which is worse-years ago i was distance running and hardcore marathon training (one small sponsor)--came home to visit and my parents sat me down to ask me if "i had the aids"..... :rolleyes:

I've been accused of being bulimic before. Becuase I have such a fast metabolism I can lose a few pounds a day for a few days straight. Did weigh ins for football and I was 8 lbs lighter on monday than I was on friday. I puked one time before a practice and they used that as "proof". The fact I ate 2 cheeseburgers, fries, and drank a ton of soda before a two a day had no effect... :rolleyes:

not joking --i was running about 120-140 miles a week and i was gaunt---6' 150 4% bf....i just laughed at how serious they were--i said no, but i can run 26 miles in less than 2:40 but i did look sick

but that was a long time ago----i should have said told them yes and my dying wish was to own an aston martin :evil:

people are usually aware of 30 lbs of muscle gain. dont get mad when people 'accuse' u of being on gear, because you are. just laugh it off, and talk about your diet and these cool protein shakes youve been taking.

when people accuse me being on gear..to me its like a compliment lol..i love it..then i go on about how this new creatine..and this trainer is constantly making me work like crazy lol..it works:)
 
I haven't been to the family christmass party in 2 years, this year they will be a little shocked at my new size. at least i hope so.
 
i get this all the time from friends. expecially now that some are coming back home as college is getting over.
 
Yea i was on ,but thats not all that got me big ,hard work ,dedication ,diet...It was nice to be noticed though..you could see some of the younger guys being alittle envious...
 
I seen my dad the other day and he asked me if I had been taking the GBH?! WTF is GBH? Old people trip me out. I haven't even done a real cycle yet. lol

It's all over the news dude. Steroids everywhere; that's why people now more than ever will say "what are you on" if they ask, well, say "I always worked out but didn't know how to train, how to eat and what supplements to take, and the importance of sleep.
